Today I want to do a shout out to my Portuguese producer Helder Borges Santos with whom I started working exactly a year ago. We just finished our tenth song yesterday! The album is nearing completion!

Now I heard about the Portuguese, and how humble and quiet they can be (as supposed to the Valencians – a whole different type of fish 😂💥), and yes, Helder is definitely way too quiet about his talents.

I tell you, this man is a genius. I send him rough really badly recorded demos of my songs on my mobile phone voice notes, and he turns them into bloody anthems. “Oh, I only enhance your compositions”, he replies. 🙄 Uh-huh.

His vision, creativity, innovative ways to create sound effects, and his professionalism knows no boundaries. And he is an absolute joy to work with.

How do I know him? Oh. You know. You end up chatting to other parents at the school gate, and talk music 😅 So glad I met you, Helder. Here’s to year 2 of collaborating, and launching my first album. Thank you for going the extra mile, with each track.

Fun fact; Helder means ‘clear’ in Dutch. And clear as the Valencian blue sky it is that this man deserves some applause and recognition. 👏
